Episode 93 - 1966

In our 1966 episode, it is another big season, with the saints starting the season on fire looking to bounce back from their grand final loss in 65, things start to go askew at the end of the season. North Melbourne returns to its spiritual home, while Fitzroy ponders whether their future is at Brunswick Street Oval. Richmond and Geelong have new coaches and Collingwood finds themselves in a position they haven't been in for years!!!

Episode 92 - 1965

In this huge 1965 episode, we talk about a pivotal season! We have controversy galore, in one of the most talked-about seasons of all time. Most of this centers around the Melbourne Football Club and 2 of their biggest figures. Three clubs switch their home grounds, The Preliminary final is remembered for all the wrong reasons, StKilda achieves a first, the Tigers start to climb that ladder, and we have stats galore to share with you. Finally, we chat with Essendon captain Ken Fraser about the year that was!

Episode 90 - 1964

In the 1964 episode, we have to mention those poor poor lions! South Melbourne try to recreate their famous foreign legion with a recruiting spree. Richmond’s new coach has a tragic beginning to his coaching tenure at the club. 5 teams fight tooth and nail for the 4 finals spots. Collingwood with a new coach seems to be back with a vengeance, and Norm Smith has his last hurrah (so tune in all you Demons fans)!

In our latest episode, we are looking at 1963! The poor Lions struggle for a win, but when they finally get one….its glorious. The magpies are locked into a bitter presidential feud.  The Saints have some big-name debutants,  Polly Farmer is in blistering form for the cats, and the hawks are back in good form!!!

In the 1962 episode, we take a look at a big VFL season, Some boom recruits debut for the Cats and Saints, (and both injure themselves in their debuts),   The league Acquires some important land...Len Smith is Unhappy at Fitzroy. Hawthorn suffers from the premiership hangover, Coleman’s coaching takes the next step and the finals are steeped in controversy.

Episode 86 - 1961

On this week’s Episode, We look at the 1961 season and we have a very different top 4 by the end of the season! Ken Boyd of South Melbourne finds himself in hot water after comments to reporters, the Tigers make history for the wrong reasons in round 16, and StKilda, Geelong and Footscray are all playing for a spot in the finals come round 18.

All this and some show news, We have Joey taking over from Big Red, with the Roundup rebranded to Around the Grounds!

Episode 85 - 1960

On the 1960 Episode... Richmond fall even further down the ladder. While the Smith brothers at Melbourne and Fitzroy (Norm and Len) are really setting the league on fire! Essendon starts the season on fire, but injuries catch up with them. StKilda stays positive. And Hawthorn achieve something they have never done in their 35 years in the league! Episode 84 - 1959

In the 1959 Episode, StKilda and Carlton have turmoil in their off-field departments, but both teams deal with this in ways you probably wouldn’t expect. Melbourne is determined to make amends for the previous year's loss in the grand final. Essendon turn to a specialist trainer. Collingwood suffer from a premiership hangover. Fitzroy press their case for another finals appearance, and Lou Richards takes over from Jack Dyer for a year!
