In the first part of our focus on the 1988 VFL season, we get back to our roots and discuss the teams that finished the season 14th-6th. This includes rule changes, Tony Lockett throwing crutches, the rain in Queensland, KB now coaching the Tigers, Ablett kicking bags for the Cats, and the Swans putting bets on themselves. All this and more in our welcome return to form.
Also many apologies for the clipping at the beggining and start of the episode.

2024 Finals week 3
Sunday Sep 22, 2024
Sunday Sep 22, 2024
Another week of fantastic finals, and here we are with a rather shorter episode to chat about the prelims, Sydney ending their streak against the Power and finally breaking through for a win. We discussed the MCG on Saturday night—what a crowd and what a game! The Lions made a comeback once again. What does the grand final look like? What history are we looking forward to? And who will win the Brownlow? Also, to build toward the 2024 grand final, we've included the grand final interview we did with the 1899 captain in a very old episode. Finally, please excuse Tim's husky voice.

Monday Sep 16, 2024
Monday Sep 16, 2024
Last week we poo-pooed the semi final week as the least interesting, and boy were we wrong! This weekend's game were amazing! The young Port team had a nice link to the 1961 Hawks team. History was on Port's side this week, but probably won't be next week. While the Lions had the third biggest comeback of all time in a final. Finally, we look ahead to Preliminary week and make some bold predictions. All that and more on this week's episode.
