The Suns with the rare double-poster, hang on for an impressive win. Ben Keay's edges closer to his 100th consecutive game, the Blues do it in 1 quarter and the Hawks with another easy win.

Here is our Round 8 review, with all the quirks and history links we could think of. The Lions reminds us a little of the "33" Saints. We talk scoreless quarters, the Dockers MCG form and MCG crowds. There are medals galore handed out this round and then we project forward to round 9, with the top 8 all playing each other!

In our round 7 preview we continue to connect the current AFL season to history and events. We discuss some draw records, Ben Keays chasing some obscure Crows history. The match at the MCG on Saturday saw Zach Tuohy kick 3 goals and then enjoy an Irish jig pumped around the G. Nat Fyfe turns back the clock and the MCG breaks a weekend attendance record. As well as a preview for a big rivalry round next week!
