In this special episode, we discuss the 1967 football tour to Ireland, by a team dubbed the Galahs. Based on the exccellent documentary The Galah's by Directors Cam Fink, Rob Heath and Tony Wilson, we discuss the players, the uniforms and the games, which have left a lasting legacy on the game of Australian Rules.

In the 1967 episode...the sleeping giants Carlton and Richmond fully awake front heir slumber and start to set the pattern for the next decade and a half (at least) we should also mention that their rivalry really starts to take hold this season. Two legends of the game retire by season’s end, while future legend Bulldog murray is back! There is upheaval at Footscray, Brian Dixon has a busy day and we check in with Charlie to see how he is feeling after the demons premiership victory in the present day all this and more.

We sat down with friend of the show and author Nick Richardson to talk about his new book which covers the life of Albert Chadwick, a man who had such an incredible life. As well as being a premiership captian/coach at Melbourne he was also a member of one of the most decorated squadrons of the Australian Flying Corps in World War I, a recruiter for the RAAF during World War II, and a skilled businessman who led Victoria’s Gas and Fuel Corporation in the radical transformation. as well has having a hand in the Melbourne Olympics, Moon landing and the Centenarry test.

In our 1966 episode, it is another big season, with the saints starting the season on fire looking to bounce back from their grand final loss in 65, things start to go askew at the end of the season. North Melbourne returns to its spiritual home, while Fitzroy ponders whether their future is at Brunswick Street Oval. Richmond and Geelong have new coaches and Collingwood finds themselves in a position they haven't been in for years!!!
