Episode 1 - 1897

On the Kick to Kick podcast today 

We have replaced the original recording of this 1897 episode with a live episode we did in June 2019, which we thing does more justice to the 1897 season. When we originally recorded this episode, we were still trying to develop a formula for our show that worked, and we also had no idea the kind of research that this show would need. So a year and a half after recording the original, we have no replaced it with, what we think is a better episode, recorded live at the Elwood Lounge. 

On a side note, the original episode we discussed the history of Carlton and Fitzroy, this has not been kept in the new episode, as we plan to dedicate stand alone episodes to this as well. 

 

The Kick to Kick Podcast aims to go through each year of the VFL/AFL season and bring out the stories, highlights, winner and losers of days gone by.
