In the third and final of our world war 2 specials, we have a lot to get through. We discuss the roles of women, Indigenous People and umpires was during the war. we discuss some of the players who gave their lives as well as the way clubs keep their memories alive. And to finish off we have 2 interviews with players who played in the league and also went to serve. The late Jack Jones of Essendon, and Geelong's oldest living player Alex Mathieson.

Finally we go through a bit of a timeline of events in the VFL relating to football not just in Melbourne but around the world.
